Dearest Anthony & Family,
I have known Barbara since we were little girls. It was my privilege to be able to visit Barbara at the Nursing Home. We always ended up talking about our roller skate competition on the sidewalks in from of the Lace Factory on Wood St. When I mentioned to Barbara that she won every single race, she said she remembered. I had to explain to her that she had a beautiful white pair of roller skates and I had an old pair of clamp skates that went over my shoes, and every time I speeded, one of the skates would fall off and Barbara would win again!. We enjoyed this story after every visit. She was a wonderful friend to many school mates, especially my brother Joe that visited her during the 4th of July this past summer from N.C.. They graduated together and were always friends. You will be missed! May you rest in peace Barbara!
