Carole A. Ferreira

Carole (Calandra) Ferreira, 83, of Riverside, RI passed away January 10, 2024. She was the widow of the late Joseph Roger Ferreira to whom she was married for 63 years. Raised in Bristol, she was a daughter of the late Edmond and Mary (Varanese) Calandra.

A graduate of Colt Memorial High School, class of 1958, she graduated from Joanne’s School of Beauty Culture, but in later years, her forte was technology.

She is survived by her children: Mary-lou Langlois (Ernie Violette), Roger Ferreira and Peter Ferreira (Stephanie), her grandchildren: Amy Lynn Langlois, Andrew, Ethan and Alexandra Ferreira, her great grandchildren: David, Joseph and Victoria Agnew, as well as her sisters: June Sousa (John) and Leslie Minkin (Len) and brother Edmond Calandra. She was predeceased by her granddaughter Molly Langlois and daughter-in-law Anna Ferreira.

The family would like to extend sincere appreciation to Eastgate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center as well as Nursing Placement of Pawtucket for the assistance and compassion they extended to Carole and her family.

Her funeral mass will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 10:00AM at St. Mary of the Bay, 645 Main St, Warren, RI. Arrangements are entrusted to Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main Street Warren, RI.
