Born in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late Emile and Alexandrina (LaVallee) Picard.
Cecile attended Bay View Academy as well as Warren High School, and received her Associate’s degree from Johnson & Wales University. She went on to work as a Legal Secretary for 17 years prior to retirement. In her spare time, Cecile enjoyed painting, bowling, and dancing.
She is survived by two children, Cynthia Nystrom of Stoughton and Christopher Nystrom of Sharon; three grandchildren, Brittney and Amanda Nystrom, and Aaron Faber; two sisters, Estelle Sousa of AZ, and Susan Rodrigues of Swansea; son-in-law Steven Faber, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 2:00 PM in Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main St., Warren. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation prior from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Burial will be private.
