Christopher R. Johnson, age 55, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 31, 2019. He was the husband of Judy L. (Rochon) Johnson to whom was married for twenty-five years.

Born in Fall River, a son of Jo Ann (Vautrin) Johnson of Swansea and the late Stanley A. Johnson, he was a lifelong resident of Swansea.

A graduate of Joseph Case High School, Class of 1982, he worked as a driver for Manheim New England in Taunton.

An avid New England Patriots and Boston Bruins fan, he enjoyed rollerblade hockey, golfing, fishing and was a lover of all types of music. During his youth, he was an all-star pitcher for Swansea Little League helping them to win many tournaments. He loved spending time with his family and his Australian Shepherd Hailey who was his best friend.

In addition to his wife and his mother, he is survived by three children, Christopher Rochon, Stephanie and Vanessa Johnson; siblings, Michael, Randall and Rebecca Johnson; two aunts, Jeannine Griggs and Bernice Johnson; Uncle, Jackie Johnson; granddaughters, Alyssa, Cierra and Amber; nieces Macayla and Kristen Johnson; and several cousins.

His Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:30 PM in the Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main St., Warren, RI followed by a Funeral Service at 4:30 PM in the funeral home. Relatives and friends invited. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his honor to the Swansea Animal Shelter, 68 Stevens Road, Swansea, MA 02777.
