

Antoinetta “Dora” (Prezioso) Hinken, age 93, of Bristol, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Crestwood Nursing and Rehabilitation in Warren. She was the wife of Benjamin C. Hinken to whom she has been married for the past 70 years.
Born in Bristol, a daughter of the late Felix and Madeline (Cappucci) Prezioso, she had been a life-long resident of Bristol, a place she loved to call home.
Dora attended Colt Memorial High School and later worked in the garment industry for over 30 years. She became co-owner of M&M Sportswear on Cutler Street in Warren, a position she took great pride in. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, where she loved to volunteer her time coordinating the church’s fashion shows.
She was an excellent cook, enjoyed going to the Bristol Library, getting coffee and taking rides throughout town with her husband. They always stopped at Wally Beach their favorite spot in town to look at the water. Her favorite times spent were with her family especially her grandchildren who she adored.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Mark Hinken and his wife Pamela of Rehoboth; one daughter Mary Ellen Gregory and her husband Niles of Bristol, RI; one brother, Gabriel Prezioso of Warren; two grandchildren, Mason Hinken and his wife Catina, Lindsey Roberto and her husband Christian; three great-grandchildren, Noah Hinken, Ivy and Leo Roberto and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Mickey Prezioso and Mary Wilcox.
Private services are in the care of the Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main St., Warren. Contributions in her honor may be made to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, 141 State St., Bristol, RI 02809.
