Franklin P. Chadwick

Franklin P. Chadwick of Plymouth, MA and North Port Fl. Formerly of Nantucket died on December 23, 2021. Beloved husband of Sandra M. Chadwick. Born in Nantucket, Ma on February 15, 1935. Son of the late Stuart Chadwick and Marion (Harvey)Chadwick.

He graduated from Nantucket High School in 1954. In 1955 he attended Segraganset Agricultural School. As a young man he worked at Ashley Market of Main Street and then Fred Linton Dairy farm before entering the United States Air Force in 1956. After the service he worked for the Ford Garage. He then worked for Nantucket Airport for 20 years and retired in 1987. He was a member of the Maddaket Admiralty Club , Engine Co. #4. American Legion, Am Vets and V.F.W.

In Addition to his wife, Mr. Chadwick is survived by his son Brian J. Chadwick & his wife Charlene, Daughters Terry A. Robinson & Husband Cecil, and Susan E. Massed & husband Alfred. He is survived by his 8 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. Also, by his brother Alcon Chadwick & Wife Julie and two nieces Amy and Wendy.

Intermittent will be held at Graveside Service on Nantucket at a later date. In Lieu of Flowers , Donation in Tribute may be made to; The Michael J. Fox foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
