Gail E. DeFelice

Gail E. (Silvia) DeFelice, 78, of 175 High Street, Bristol, RI, died on March 21, 2023 after a short time in hospice care. She was the wife of Ralph G. DeFelice to whom she was married for 55 years. She was the oldest of the three children of the late Sylvester and Kathryn (LaFazia) Silvia.

Mrs. DeFelice was a lifelong resident of Bristol. Educated at Saint Mary’s School and a member of the Class of 1963 of Colt Memorial High School, Mrs. DeFelice graduated from the Rhode Island Hospital School of Nursing in 1966. She worked for a number of years as a Registered Nurse at the Rhode Island Hospital and the Jane Brown Hospital in Providence.

An avid reader from her youth, she also enjoyed traveling to visit family for special events, especially to see her family and granddaughters in Florida.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Ralph M. DeFelice and his wife Elizabeth; two granddaughters, Anna R. and Sophia E. DeFelice all of Cape Coral, FL; one brother, Sean Silvia of Bristol. She was preceded in death by her sister, Tracy Silvia.

Funeral Services were held at the convenience of the family in the care of the Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main St., Warren. Mrs. DeFelice was buried at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Bristol.
