Helga M. Sousa

Born in Germany she was a daughter of the late Hans and Leiselotte (Ziehlke) Voigt.

She worked as an x-ray technician for 30 years in a Hospital in Germany. She loved cooking and spending time with her family.

She is survived by 3 sons, Harold (Michelle), Michael (Debra) of East Providence and David (Diane) Sousa of Bristol, 1 daughter Kornelia (Johannes) Haasemann of Germany, 2 brothers Manifred Voigt, Heinz Ziehlke and a sister Monika Eichner of Germany, 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. She was the daughter in law of Arthur P. Sousa Sr. and Margaret( Greene) Sousa. Sister in law of Sharon and Warren Wollschlager and Dr. Robert and AnnDee Sousa.

Her funeral will be Wednesday at 8:30 am from WILBUR-ROMANO Funeral Home, 615 Main Street, Warren, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Mary’s Church, 330 Wood St., Bristol. Burial will be in North Burial Ground, Bristol. VISITATION TUESDAY 4-8 pm.
