Helia M. Correia

Born in Terceira, Azores, Portugal, she was a longtime resident of Bristol. Helia was known for her beaming smile, her love of her family, animals and a lover of life. She truly enjoyed the holidays with her family, taking care of her nieces and nephews, she loved to listen to her music as loud as possible, she enjoyed eating ice cream and going on car rides.

Helia is survived by three sisters, Doris Damasio and her husband Louis, Deodata “Dottie” Narciso and her husband Adolfo and Fatima Amaral and her husband John all of Bristol; three brothers, Duvall Correia and his wife Malea of WV, Manuel Correia and his wife Eleanor of Bristol and Joseph Correia of E. Providence; and was also the loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Miguel Correia.

Helia’s family would like to thank the Nursing Staff and CNA’s of Silver Creek Manor for the wonderful and loving care provided to Helia.

Her memorial service will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 at 11:00AM in the Wilbur Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main Street, Warren. Visitation will be prior from 8:00 to 11:00AM.
