Irene (Almeida) Garcia, age 87, of Warren, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025. A resident of Warren, Bristol and Foster, RI, Irene was born in Warren and was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Paiva) Almeida.
A devout Catholic, Irene enjoyed trips to New Hampshire and Cape Cod and loved to shop. Above all else, she enjoyed spending time with her beloved children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Julie A. Garcia of Cranston and Frances Munroe and her husband Kenneth of Chepachet; one son, Paul Garcia and his wife Julie of Tiverton; one sister, Evelyn Goulart of Warren; seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be private.
