Joel Timothy Herman

Born in Houston, TX, the son of Carl L. and Glenna C. (Maulden) Herman, he was a longtime resident of South Carolina and Texas prior to relocating to Rhode Island.

Tim loved the outdoors, spending his free time fishing, camping, bird watching, and simply observing the world with his dogs. A jack-of-all-trades, he especially enjoyed restoring antique furniture and bringing other vintage items back to life. Perhaps most of all, he will be remembered for his sense of humor. Nothing pleased him more than making people laugh, and he was good at it.

He is survived by one son, Jacob Herman and his spouse Jamie Huff of Warren; one daughter, Jade Herman of Denver, CO; two sisters, Rebecca Herman of Greenwood, SC and Jenny Edwards of Laurens, SC, and many nieces and nephews. Tim was the brother of the late Carla Putnam, David Herman, Mark Herman and Amy Herman.

Private arrangements are in the care of the Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, Warren, Rhode Island.
