My thoughts are with the King family at this sad time. Life goes on for those who are left behind, but John you will never be forgotten by many. You were loved by all and lived life to the full. RIP.

Where do I begin, I guess in 1968 when I moved to Touisset across the street from the King's. There started a friendship that went through the years of births of our babies, walking with the carriages, laughing and crying through the years. There are just so many memories, too many to even name, but always in my mind and will be forever. I feel that Bud and I grew up together which we did as young adults. My dear friend, jitterbug partner, just a wonderful person and friend. He is loved and will be missed very much. Love to the King family. Marilyn (Malin) Lindsay-Metts

The entire King family welcomed me wholeheartedly into their lives and I am grateful for all the time I spent with them. Bud was an extraordinary person, always quick to laugh, loved spending time with his children and grandkids, and knew where to find the best pizza (btw you cannot find a well done pepperoni and garlic pizza in Kansas). I spent a lot of time with Bud playing cribbage, yelling at the Red Sox, working in the yard, having family dinners, or drinking the occasional beer. Every memory of him is cherished.
JB, Betty, Sherri, and Becky- I am so sorry for your loss. In this time of sorrow, please know that you are loved. I miss you all.
