Mr. Oliveira was the owner and operator of Mount Hope Lumber for 50 years before retiring at the age of 77.
He is survived by his son, John Oliveira, Jr. and his wife Carol of Warren; daughters, Alice Trudell of Florida, Carol Murphy and her husband Bill of New York and Darlene Acosta of Washington; sister, Beatrice Hedrick; nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
