She was born in 1934 in Randolph, MA to John and Julia (Crowley) Dockrey.
A 1952 graduate of Brockton High School, Julia went on to a career in the banking industry until retiring to Cape Cod where she enjoyed the beaches and became an avid golfer.
Judy is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Riddell (George) of Seattle Washington, her son, Chuck Averill (Kimberly) of Bristol, Rhode Island. She was the sister of Thomas Dockery of Hull, Massachusetts and the late Mary Telles, John Dockrey, Rose McKenzie, Leonard Dockrey, Arthur Dockrey and Dorothy Brophy. Nina is also survived by her cherished grandsons, Payson, Evan and Jake along with many nieces and nephews.
Private arrangements are in the care of Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main Street, Warren, RI.
