Born in Fall River, a son of the late David and Miranda (Botelho) Rogers, he had been a resident of Rehoboth since 1985.
A Veteran of the United States Marine Corps he did three tours in Vietnam and served in the National Guard for one year. Kenny attended New England Technical Institute and was a Master Electrician. He worked as a refrigeration electrician for 35 years prior to his retirement in 2004. A skilled handyman and carpenter, he built his own home. He enjoyed building furniture, cabinets and restoring old cars.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Ann Marie Buonavolonta and her husband John of Center Conway, NH, Karen Ann Rogers and her husband Todd Gurka of Rehoboth: two grandchildren Victoria Myers and her husband James and Mya Buonavolonta all of Center Conway, NH and many nieces and nephews. He is the brother of the late Delores Floor and David Rogers.
His Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM in the Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main Street, Warren, RI. Relatives and friends are invited. Contributions in his honor may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN, 38105. Burial private.
