Mark McGinty

Born in New York City a son of the late Jerome F. and Constance M. (Donnelly) McGinty he had resided in Fairfield, CT for many years before relocating to Warren.

A graduate of Roslyn High School in Long Island, Class of 1967, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Art from Villanova University. Mr. McGinty worked in sales and marketing for many publications, specifically Golf Digest for many years before his retirement. A natural athlete, he excelled in all athletic endeavors, especially golf. With an adventurous spirit, he would try anything and enjoyed traveling everywhere. A connoisseur of antique cars he had grown quite a collection of classics as well as motorcycles.

In addition to his wife, he was the beloved father of Caroline McGinty of Providence and Haley McGinty of Colorado, brother of Constance Tallman and her husband Cliff, William “Bill” McGinty and his wife Nina Biornstad and Sean McGinty and his wife Susan; brother-in-law of Joan McGinty and uncle to several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Gregory McGinty.
