I unfortunately just got the news of the loss of Mike. I spent two years with him in the EMBA program at USF. I can honestly say he was one of those rare people that everybody liked. It breaks my heart that such a class person has left us at such a young age. My thoughts and prayers are with his whole family. I will remember him always with that big smile on his face.

Kristin, Maddie & Josh,

May you always know and remember how much Mike loves you. I worked for Mike at A2B and know how proud he was of you. You are far too young to lose him and my heart is broken that he was taken at such a young age. May you find the strength and courage to carry on.

Mike enjoyed the finer things in life: Maddie's track meets, Josh's fencing matches, Kristin's strawberry shortcake, playing on the beach with Nick and Bear. As others have said, Maddie and Josh, your father loved you very, very much. Please know throughout your lives that you have already experienced more love from a father than many will ever know. May that thought help you through this tragic time. Your loss is deeply felt by many of us who worked with Mike.

Mike took great pleasure in the finer things of life: Mattie's track meets, Josh's fencing, Kristen's strawberry shortcake, playing on the beach with Nick and Bear. What a terrible tragedy for all of you to lose him. As others have said, Mattie and Josh, you must remember throughout your lives how much your father loved you. He is gone, but you have already experienced more love from your father than others ever know. May that be some small comfort during this most dreadful time.

I was shocked to hear about the sudden passing of Mike. We worked together developing EPC/RFID standards and doing implementations in the CPG/retail industries. It was a very exciting, dynamic and fun time. My deepest sympathies to his wife and his children. My prayers are with all of you.

Kristin, Maddie & Josh,

I worked with Mike at A2B and am very saddened by his passing. Mike used send me encouraging skypes and emails, as though he could sense whenever I needed them, especially when I was on travel. I respected Mike's professionalism and candor.
