To our friends and family,

When I was little, my grandmother took the best care of me, and I have memories with her that will last a lifetime. I’ll never forget her singing pieces from “Whatever Happened To Baby Jane?” to me while she bounced me on her knee. I used to play in her basement while she made chocolate chip cookies from scratch with no recipe..entirely from memory. During thunderstorms, I would hide under her big wood table while she tried to find me. I’ll always remember the excitement in her voice, when I would walk through her door and she would shriek my name with excitement, and I remember the tears in her eyes when I would have to leave her. Most people wouldn’t believe how much she spoiled me, but she absolutely did until the very end! She loved her family and she used to love hearing what was new in our lives. I’m grateful to have had her for as long as I did, and I’m grateful that I got to ask her so many questions about her life. While she was undeniably a force to be reckoned with, she had an amazing fashion sense, a knack for making people laugh with her unintentional honesty, and an ability to survive and be unapologetically herself. I have the utmost respect for her and all she has accomplished and been through, as so many do. Throughout her life, there’s no denying she left an impact on anyone she met, and I’m glad I got to be able to call her my grandmother.

This goodbye is harder than I imagined, and I wish I could be there with all of you. Thank you so much to all of our family and extended family for taking such good care of her in her final months and years. It meant so much to us, to know that she was so loved and cared for. I love you so much, gram. I hope that you continue to guide me and the rest of our family through this journey, from a better place. Enjoy your reunion with the Golden Girls...we’ll miss you. You’re free.🖤

To my family,
I thank you ALL for taking such good care of Gram. To my sister Tracy, words can never express how grateful I am for you and all you did. Gram loved us all so much . Family was everything to her. Now it is up to all of us to carry on the tradition's . We have such great memories of her and even though she is no longer with us , we will have those memories forever! I will miss our talk and all the advice you would give me every Monday at 9 am (don't be late) but I feel better knowing you will be watching over me until we meet again!
Rip my dear grandmother
I loved you more then you will ever know

Hello Dearest Friends,

We are so sad to hear about Gram’s passing. She left an indelible mark on my heart and is certainly one of the most special people I was blessed to have crossed paths with. I I have so many wonderful memories of sitting at her kitchen table! Those memories will always be with me.

God speed Gram!

Dear Tracy, Tookie, Priscilla, Leslie and Tayla,

Please accept our sincerest condolences on the passing of your mom/grandmother. She was truly a unique person, and admirably, had no problem with being so. Her strength, sense of humor, generous spirit and keen sense of fashion will be remembered fondly and treasured.

She was truly a machine of a modern woman throughout her life, overcoming many obstacles and staying strong with her sisters, all while making us laugh at life's strange and twisted turns.

I will especially treasure the memories I share with Tracy, my mom and Aunt Carol seeing The Christmas Carol at Trinity Rep annually. When we go in the future, we will always toast the magnificent Pauline. Here's to her and her sisters laughing it up in heaven. "Well done, my good and faithful servant." Mathew: 25:21
Peace and Comfort,
