OBITUARY

Rose M. Rosner

March 23, 1925September 26, 2020

Rose Rosner, 95, lived a full life. She grew up in Warren as the daughter of Polish immigrants and sister to three brothers. She studied at the New England Conservatory of Music, performed for the USO in Washington DC, and although she spent her career working at the telephone company in Providence, her real passion was always for music.

Rose was kind-hearted, creative, curious, and funny. Her life was quiet but it was filled with love for her family, devotion to God, and the beautiful sounds of Chopin and Debussy as she played at her piano. She was compassionate above all else, and found empathy for animals and people alike.

Her memory lives on in her family: her son Mark Rosner, daughter-in-law Anne Marie Rosner, granddaughter Elizabeth Rosner and her husband Bacary Diatta, granddaughter Allison Rosner with her husband Sean Walsh, and great-grandchildren Emerson and Amara Walsh. Rose Rosner was a talented, loving, and vibrant woman whose 95 years on this earth will be celebrated and remembered.

Her Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 10:00 am in St. Mary of the Bay Parish, 645 Main St., Warren. Burial will be private. For directions and condolences, www.wilbur-romano.com.

Dear Fanily--My Mother grew up at 43 Arlington, so your family and mine were close. I recall so many times being there and loving your Mother who was so vibrant and loving. My Mother and Father moved to Mendon, Mass., and I recall a visit from Andy, Rosalie, Mark and Catherine Ziemienska who I adored. I kept in touch with your Mom Mark, and recently found I was unable to leave a message.
I recall a trip to the beach with Rose and my sister--she was so much fun. On Sept. 1, I thought I should Google her, but didn't, and I now know that was the day of her Funeral.
I am sure God welcomed her with open arms.
God Bless you and your family

Rose has already been missed at family celebrations. She is a part of many memories that we all share. The world is poorer without her kind heart.
