Sandra M. Chadwick

Sandra M. (Daurie) Chadwick, age 81, of Plymouth, Massachusetts and North Port, Florida, formerly of Nantucket died Tuesday, January 18, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Franklin P. Chadwick. Born in Somerville, Massachusetts on December 16, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Forrest O. and Margaret (Skerry) Daurie. She graduated from Somerville High School, Class of 1959. Sandra moved to Nantucket in 1967 and worked as a Clerk and then Assistant Clerk in Nantucket District Court. After leaving the Court system, she was a Clerk, then Assistant Clerk and then Register of Deeds for the County of Nantucket prior to her retirement in 1999. She is survived by three children, Brian Chadwick and his wife Charlene of Forestdale, MA, Terry Robinson and her husband Cecil of Suffolk, VA, Susan Massed and her husband Alfred of Warren, RI; two sisters, Phyllis Visco and Gayle MacLennan, eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A private burial will take place on Nantucket.
