Born in Attleboro, Shirley was the daughter of the late William F. and Clementina (Alves) Fuller. A dedicated and hardworking woman, she devoted 44 years of her life to Blount Fine Foods, where she proudly rose to the position of Quality Control Inspector before retiring in 1995.
Shirley’s faith was central to her life. She was a devoted communicant of the former St. Jean the Baptiste Church in Warren, where she sang joyfully in the choir and participated actively in the Knights of Columbus Women’s Auxiliary. After the church’s closure, she continued her spiritual journey with St. Mary of the Bay, bringing her love of music with her to the new choir community.
An engaged and vibrant member of her community, Shirley was involved in the Warren Senior Center, the Warren Tenants’ Association, and The Leisure Club. She found great joy in simple pleasures—square dancing, bowling, knitting, ceramics, and Hallmark movies—but nothing brought her more happiness than time spent with her family and friends.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Donna Gagne, and Donna’s partner, Edith May Maillet of Riverside. She also leaves behind her sister-in-law, Jeanne Cirillo of Florida and many dear nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was mother of the late Edward Gagne, III and sister of the late William Fuller, Jr. and Earl Fuller.
Her funeral will be held Monday, August 25, 2025, at 9:00 AM from the Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main Street Warren followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Mary of the Bay Church, Warren. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 24, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Burial will be in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Warren.
