Stanley J. Puchalski

Stanley J. Puchalski, 88, of Tiverton, RI, formally of North Haven, CT, passed away at home on Saturday, June 20, 2020. He was the beloved husband of Carol A. (Coburn) Puchalski to whom he had been married to for 63 years.

Born in Dickson City, PA, he was the son of the late Alexander Puchalski and Martha (Vietrzykowski) Puchalski.

A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Stanley honorably served his country during the Korean War.

He was employed by Plasticrete Block & Supply Corp, manufacturing and managing materials for masonry for 45 years and later by O&G Industries Inc. as a security guard, retiring in March 2015.

Stanley was the loving father of Regina C. Patten and her husband Douglas, Lisa A. Duchene and her husband Douglas, and Roseann R. Franco and her husband Michael Jr. Loving grandfather of Douglas Patten Jr. (Meghan), Evan Patten (Ashleigh), Michael Franco III and Haley Franco. He was the brother of Joseph Puchalski and was predeceased by his siblings; Helen, Alex, Edward, Jackie, Anthony, Rita, Pearl and Bernadine. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Stanley was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing softball and fishing with his son-in-laws. Stanley was also the loving owner of his devoted pet dogs Bianca and Halo (My Friend).

Due to current restrictions on public gatherings and at the family’s request, Stanley’s funeral services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Visiting Nurse Home & Hospice, 1184 E. Main Rd, Portsmouth, RI 02871 and will be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, Warren, RI.
