Vance P. Spillman, 60, of Bristol, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at home. He was the loving husband of Brenda (Macomber) Collette-Spillman.

Born in Canada, a son of the late William and Rose M. (Napierski) Spillman, he had lived in Rhode Island for many years.

Mr. Spillman was the Vice President and General Manager of Sun-Tech, Sunrise Technologies in Raynham, MA for many years.

In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters, Melanie Collette of Bristol and Danielle Lebosky of Florida; beloved granddaughter, Gwen Lee Goncalves of Bristol; one brother, William Spillman and his wife Barbara of Virginia; one sister, Marjorie Spillman of California; two nieces and two nephews.

His Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM in the Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main Street, Warren. Funeral and burial is private.

Made him smile when I named the fork lift "The USS Enterprise" and Vance really loved the idea. He was thinking the USS Enterprise from Star Trek (Of course). He will be sadly missed by myself and everyone who knew him.

I will always remember how good Vance was to me during my difficult pregnancy working for him and Bob M. My thoughts and prayers are with all of his family.
