Arthur Heimbold

Beloved son of Charles and Mary Josephine Heimbold (nee Corrigan), cherished husband of 42 years of Margaret Byrne Heimbold, father of Matthew, Andrea, Steven, Jeff, Eric and Victoria. Grandfather of Luke, Grace, Sofia., April, Ian, Tyler, Joseph, Matthew and Hendrix. Brothers; Charles (deceased) (Monika,) Richard (Ursula,) Peter (Nancy) both deceased; David, and John (Jenny).

Art graduated with a BS in History from Marquette University and served in the U.S. Army in Germany. Art was a longtime healthcare executive and chairman and founder of Summerville Senior Living. He served on numerous business and community boards and advised multiple companies on business strategies. He had a lifetime interest in history and genealogy.

He was devoted to his family, friends and the Holy Trinity Parish of Georgetown. He lived in Georgetown for 42 years, and was a long time member of Kenwood Golf and Country Club.

Viewing will be on Friday, June 26th at 9:00 am at the Chapel of St. Ignatius at 3513 N Street, NW, Georgetown, Washington, DC, followed by Mass at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel. Mass will be celebrated by Reverend Kevin Gillespie. Art will be deeply missed by his beloved wife Margaret, his family and his numerous friends.
