To Brian's family.

I met Brian at the Georgetown Graduate School of Government in 1968. My wife and I kept up our frienship with Brian over the years. Dinners, concerts, and Sunday brunches. Conversation was always about philosophy, history, people, an important book and most of all America's future in the world. He loved to think. It was a quality that I most admired in him.

I knew Brian just four years, but he was the type of human being I wish I had known for forty.   What an interesting , intelligent man!   Brian could talk about events  the world over with the     knowledge and insight that only a person of his caliber would know.  Brian was modest, unassuming

Thomas-- I am addressing this email to Brian's brother Brad. May the Lord give Brian peace and a wholeness that he stuggled with so much in life. Brian and I were at CHS together. These were good times. Will write more later God bless the family and his friends.

I'm sure my fellow Cheverus grad and fellow Navy man is safe with God today. And I hope God will bless him abundantly. I hope the happiness you feel from the memories of the time he shared with you will far out weigh the pain of his parting.
