C. Richard Beyda

C. Richard Beyda, of Washington, DC, passed away peacefully on October 14. He was the beloved husband of Suanne; devoted father of Danielle Aronson (Joshua), Allie Kendall (Edward), and Samantha Moore (Ryan); and cherished grandfather of Lila and Eleanor Aronson, Caroline Kendall, and Bailey and Brooke Moore.

A native Washingtonian, Dick was a respected attorney whose distinguished career spanned more than six decades at Grossberg, Yochelson, Fox & Beyda, LLP, where he practiced following his graduation from George Washington University Law School in 1962.

Dick was known for his kindness and unwavering commitment to his family, friends, and community. He generously devoted his time and talents to various nonprofit organizations and served as a member of the Board of Trustees of Children’s National Medical Center for over a decade, including as Chair of the Board of Directors, Chairman of the Board, and Chairman of the Foundation Board. His dedication to the hospital and its mission reflected his enduring commitment to helping others.

Dick will be remembered in many ways: as an exceptional lawyer, an avid golfer, a loving and generous husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and a trusted confidant and dear friend to many.

A private ceremony will be held for immediate family, followed by a celebration of Dick’s life on November 14 at 5 p.m. at Woodmont Country Club.
