Clifton Bernard Smith, Esq., native Washingtonian, passed June 16, 2014, after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his devoted wife, Joyce Clements-Smith, daughter Cydne Smith Nash (Elson), sister, Joyce Smith Harris Johnson (Herman H.), nephew Clifford Alexander Harris Jr.(Kenecia), grandson Elson Amiri Nash, brothers-in-law Raymond Lindsay (Sandra) and Dennis M. McCaskill, grand nieces Kennedi and Kerrington Harris and a foster sister, Susan Perry.
A Memorial Celebration will be held at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, June 28, 2014, at Joseph Gawler's Sons LLC., 5130 Wisconsin Avenue N.W. Washington, DC.
