Cyrille Martin Marie Joseph Briançon born 31 October 1945 in Pontoise, France, passed away peacefully on 20 August 2021 in Bethesda, Maryland. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years Kathy (Burke), his daughter Alexandra and son Matthew and daughter-in-law Ellen, his five brothers Paul, Daniel, Bertrand, Patrick and Maxime, and a large extended family. An avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed photography, birding and biking, he retired in 2008 as an Economist and Division Chief from the International Monetary Fund. He will be interred in France at a later date. The family will be contacting friends with information regarding a celebration of his life.
