Dane Paul Lareau, 45 years old, passed away July 28th, 2015 at The Washington D.C. VA Medical Center. Dane is survived by his fiancé Sonia Hutchison Trask, 3 children: Austin, Madison, & Caitlyn, and 5 siblings: Cherie Libka, of Homer, Il Susan (Mike) Scruggs of Bourbonnnais, Il, Michele Lareau of Sidney, Il David (Phyllis) of Allerton, Il, and Dan of Champaign Il. Dane was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Mary (Morris) Lareau of Allerton, Illinois.
He served in the US Army as an interventional radiology technician, achieving the rank of E4 and was a member of the Broadlands Masonic Temple Lodge #791.
Cremation has been accorded. A celebration of life event will be held at the Walnut Hill Shelter at Homer Lake Forest Preserve on Saturday, August 29th from 1-4 pm.
