Dave talked often about how much he missed his Dad. You are with him now. We will try to get a republican president elected in your honor w/the next election. God bless the republicans.

David was one of my best Landon friends. He was a great athlete, talented musician, and a kind and sensitive friend. David was talented in so many
areas but showed very little ego. He was so happy to have met and married Jane. He will be missed by all of his friends especially the Landon ones.

To Dave's Family: Though I hadn't seen him in some time, Dave was a special part of our group of friends in Washington DC in the 1980's, when we were all younger and riding high on life in the Capitol City. I remember him as so smart and sweet, a wonderful man. I'm sorry I'm unable to pay my respects tonight, as I live in Atlanta now. I'll always remember Dave with special fondness. God Bless you all.

I visited Jane and Dave last summer in their new home in Nellysford. It was a pleasure to meet and visit Dave and I know all of his immediate family with miss him dearly. He seemed quite happy in his new home and surroundings near Charlottesville. My thoughts and prayers for Jane and the boys, especially.

David was a grade school friend. I grew up down the street. We played ball at Little Flower until he transferred to Landon in, I believe, seventh grade. I still consider him my "first best friend". I had recently googled him to see whatever and wherever ....I am truly saddened to learn of his passing. His wisdom always shown through, even as a 10-year-old. I can recall when he told me "a hungry ballplayer is a great ballplayer"....I believe he had skipped breakfast that day. Hank Brown

I was lucky enough to spend 5 years with Dave at the Fed. He was a mentor and I considered him a true friend. We had many great days (and some not so much) on the golf course and he proudly helped us win many a Governor's Cup trophies against the Richmond Federal Reserve. I still have the framed picture of me and Dave in my office after he and I had just beat Chairman Greenspan on the tennis court. He will be truly missed and we have lost a great gentleman.

Dave was a great friend and colleague here at the Federal Reserve. I have missed him being with us here at work and am sad to hear of his death. His kindness, intelligence, and warmth will stay with me and others.
