Despina Bayz, 78, of Washington D.C., beloved mother of Aki Bayz (Laura) and grandmother of Constantino and Adriano, passed away peacefully at her home on April 18. Sister of the late Harilaos Papapostolou, is survived by two brothers, the Rev. Spyridon Papapostolou and Dimitri Papapostolou of Athens Greece, and two sisters Irene Kazakou of Athens and Magdalene Kantartzi of Bethesda, Md.
Funeral and burial service will take place in Greece. A Trisagio Prayer Service will be held at Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, April 22 at 10:30 a.m.
