Bryan Harrison) of Somerset, MD, Roni Slavin Pekins (Dr. Peter Pekins) of Durham, NH. Grandmother of Ryan Marshall Pekins (Jessie Sherman-Pekins) of Billings, MT and Anna Justine Pekins (Dr. Bryce Christopherson) of East Grand Forks, MN. Great Grandmother of Kendall Kenzo Christopherson. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Preceded in death by her parents David and Augusta Cohen Purlson and one brother Elliot Purlson, all of Verona, NJ. A service will be held at the Washington Hebrew Congregation, 3955 Macomb Street, NW, Washington, DC on Monday September 18, 2023 at 11 AM.
