Beloved wife of over 49 years to the late Donald George Simons; devoted and loving mother of Donna Lee Simons of Boston, MA, Denise (Bruce) Simons-Morton of Bethesda, MD, Doreen Alicia Peri of Sterling, VA, Diane S. (Don) Thornton of Kea'au, HI; dear sister of the late Falvey (Ila) Barker; adored grandmother of Mark Thornton, Jason Schmidt, Lauren Bahia Simons (Chris) Lane, Donald (Erin) Morton, Alicia Rose Pericolosi; cherished aunt of Linda Embrey, Sandra Simons-Ailes, Patricia Pruss, David Simons, Steve C. Barker, and the late Brenda Barker Furtick. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 12 Noon at Joseph Gawler's Sons LLC, 5130 Wisconsin Avenue NW, Washington DC 20016.
