Eric was born on January 26th 1983, in Austin, Texas. He was a proud graduate of Gonzaga College High School (2001) in Washington D.C., the University of Virginia (2005), and Le Cordon Bleu (2007). Eric passionately pursued the diploma-level of the London-based Wine and Spirits Education Trust. A visionary and entrepreneur at heart, Eric launched Cordial Craft Wine, Beer & Spirits in 2013. His passion for promoting independent producers and providing exceptional customer service drove him to expand Cordial to two locations in Washington D.C.
Eric had a genuine and sincere appreciation for building relationships over a drink or meal, travelling for new experiences, and over-analyzing fantasy football. His connection with others was evident through his life motto of “Keeping Your Glass Half-Full”. Eric will be remembered for his sarcastic wit, generous spirit and Texan swagger.
A scholarship has been established in Eric’s honor at Gonzaga College High School.
The family would like to thank all of Eric’s friends and colleagues who were by his side during his battle with cancer and cordially invite everyone to raise a glass in Eric’s honor. Cheers!
