
Devoted mother of Judith Orvos (Paul) died at her home in Washington, DC on Sunday, October 2, 2016. Born on July 15, 1923 in Newark, NJ, Evelyn resided in New Jersey until moving to Washington in 2008. A graduate of The Presbyterian School of Nursing in Newark, NJ, Evelyn served in the U.S. Cadet Nurse Corps. She was employed as a Registered Nurse at The Mutual Benefit Insurance Company of Newark, NJ and at St. Catherine of Siena Convent in Caldwell, NJ. Mrs. Staba was predeceased by her husband, John. In addition to her daughter and son-in-law, she is survived by many members of her extended family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for her in New Jersey where she was a communicant at Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church in Union, NJ, with interment following at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Bloomfield, NJ. The family request memorial donations be made to:
