I met Grant Mitchell at th Dept. of Housing and Urban Development,  he was one of OGC's family.  He was a great person, and an excellent attorney,and if I am not mistaken he was an expert in RESPA.  Grant, rest in peace, and may God be with you at home.

His contribution to our lives was incalculable. My condolences to his family.

Sheila, I am so sorry to learn of Grant's passing and your loss.  I have known him for over forty years and he was always one of my favorite friends in this world. Grant was one of my mentors in the RESPA legal world and a friend.  He was a true gentleman in every sense of the word.  I will genuinely miss collaborating with him and listening to his RESPA war stories.  He was a true legend in the business.  My deepest condolences to his family.

Grant was a colleague and friend.  Grant was the voice of RESPA.  He wrote the regs and nearly every agency opinion letter on the subject.  I had the pleasure of working with him at HUD and sharing dozens of podiums together.  He was a mentor to all of us who practice in this area, and he will be missed.
