Greg was a partner at the venture capital firm QED Investors, where he used his extraordinary talents and infectious enthusiasm to help early stage companies grow and thrive. Greg graduated from Vanderbilt University and managed the sales team at LivingSocial before joining QED. Greg loved WWII history, mentoring, and reading to his son. He lived every day full speed ahead and didn’t miss a damn thing. He will be missed terribly.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in Greg’s honor to Ashley Treatment, 800 Tydings Lane, Havre de Grace, MD 21078 or online at https://www.ashleytreatment.org/donate/tribute-and-memorial/

There will be an additional casual gathering to remember and celebrate Greg on Thursday, July 25 at 6pm at Tudor Place Gardens, 1644 31st St NW.

I was lucky to work with Greg at LivingSocial early on. Greg, Jake Seip and Emily King all interviewed me (~2010) during my super session interview for sales in which I proceeded to have to explain in great detail what Spanx were and why they'd make a good promotion on the website. long story... but we were all belly laughing in the interview. I remember really looking up to him right away in the way in which he carried himself in the interview. Moving to DC to work with LS, I'd chat with and work with Greg and his team and then fast forward to this year, I saw Greg when he was out in SF for work and he was advising me on the company I founded. Such a brilliant, stand up, kind, caring guy. Greg helped to shape my career... I am forever thankful for that.

To Greg's family, I am so very sorry for your loss. Words just are not sufficient at a time like this.... Hoping you find small pockets of peace in the stories and memories that are shared. Sending you all that strength and love you can imagine.

Hugs.

I loved talking about with Greg about how much he loved George -- he adored being a dad and sharing stories with me about our goofy wonderful kids. He was a caring friend, professionally exceptional, and had a life cut too short.

All my love and thoughts to his family and everyone who feels his loss.

Dear Polly, Dan and Family,

I just want to express my sincere condolences for the loss of your beloved Greg. I lost my first husband and the father of my children in a very similar way and can commiserate in a way that some can not. Praying for strength, comfort and peace as you navigate the days ahead. I am so very sorry.

Love, Katy (Hahn) Corrigan aka Margie’s sister
