Jay was a great boss and mentor. I might be the only person to have worked for both Jay and Wendy and their influence on my career and life has been significant. For the three years I worked for him, he shared countless stories and opinions: civil war history and presidential politics, travelling adventures and the best wines to pair with what foods, errors in DC metro system planning and development, and on and on (and on!). He supported and developed my career and I am grateful that I was able to stay in contact with Jay and Wendy despite the distance in miles. His wit, intellect, stories, and kindness he shared will always stay with me. My heart aches for you, Wendy. God bless you and give you strength during this time.
