

On March 3, 2021 at the age of 91 in Rockville, Md. Born in Paris, France, as an 11-year-old boy, he left with his family for the United States as the country was overrun in 1940. Growing up in Washington, D.C., he was grateful and devoted to his adopted country and proudly became an U.S. citizen. He was an adoring husband to his college sweetheart, the former Natalie Smith, for 64 years until her passing 5 years ago. He attended Woodrow Wilson H.S., The George Washington University and Univ. of Md. Dental School. He served in the United States Navy and then practiced dentistry in the Washington, D.C. Metro area for over 40 years.
He was the doting and very much beloved father to Jacqueline Bouquet, Michele Bouquet and Edouard Bouquet (Kristen). Adored grandfather of Nicholas Bouquet, Alexandrina Kay, Christopher Sievering, Genevieve Bouquet, Samantha Sievering, Josephine Bouquet, Jean-Pierre Bouquet II, Jackson Bouquet, and Griffin Bouquet. Great Grandfather of Isabella Kay. He is also survived by his brother, Jean-Louis. He was preceded in death by his sister Gisele Caviness and half-sister Antoinette Samuels.
