I worked with Doug for many years at GEICO. He was a wealth of knowledge and good common sense. May he rest in peace, but, if I know him, he will probably not choose to rest, but will travel to some far off places which he loved to do. He was my friend and I will miss him.

I am so sorry to hear of Doug's death. I worked with him at GEICO, and he became a friend. I remember he would bring me daily words to learn from a calendar. I even had the courage to play Trivial Pursuit with him a few times!

Doug was a kind man, who enjoyed life. He would make trips to certain churches for holidays. He went to Williamsburg to see the Christmas decorations, and enjoyed everything so much.

I know he has found peace.

To the family,
My sincere condolences in the passing of John. Please find comfort in the words of Revelation 21:4, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” John will be rewarded with life in Paradise. (Luke 23:43)
