Judah David Mills, aged 42, passed away at home in Cambridge, UK on the 18th of October, 2025. He is survived by his wife, Heather Noelle Wharton and their daughters, Genevieve Elizabeth Mills and Juliette Delphine Mills.
Judah was born in St. Paul, Minnesota to Shirley Mae Miller and Daniel Lee Mills. The first of three children, he is survived by his brother CDR Benjamin Joseph Mills, his sister Serah Rachel Mills, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
Judah graduated from Chaska High School in 2001 and subsequently joined the United States Air Force the following year at the age of 19. For the next twenty years, he served as an airborne linguist and signals intelligence specialist, accumulating over 3,000 hours as an aircrew member, instructor, and evaluator. His early military career was characterized by his specialization as an airborne cryptologic linguist in Korean, Malaysian, Indonesian, and Spanish. Due to his exceptional leadership and technical proficiency spanning multiple deployments around the globe, Judah concluded his career as a Senior Enlisted Leader of an Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Detachment stationed at RAF Mildenhall, United Kingdom. By those he served with and led, he will always be remembered for his exceptional humor, ruthless pursuit of excellence, and unwavering dedication to his country.
Judah earned his M.B.A. from the University of Cambridge, Judge Business School, as a member of Downing College, graduating in May of 2022. In addition to his studies, Judah enjoyed rowing with the Downing College Boat Club and participating in Australian Rules Football, leading to his admittance into the Hawk’s Club.
Upon retiring from the military, Judah became part of the Booz Allen Hamilton family as an Associate. “Retirement” allowed for a rich tapestry of life, working with people he respected and enjoyed, skiing whenever he could, running on the weekends, making waffles for his girls, and the occasional friendly game of backgammon.
Judah was a radiant soul whose easy charm and warm, ready smile made everyone feel welcome. His presence turned ordinary moments into something special. His absence leaves a quiet ache in our hears and he will be profoundly missed.
