KATINA JOHN ALAHOUZOS

On Tuesday, August 9, 2011, KATINA JOHN ALAHOUZOS. Born in Kalymnos, Greece on September 17, 1913. Beloved wife of the late John Emanuel Alahouzos; sister of the late Anna Zembillas and her husband, John. Devoted mother of George (Pauline), Emanuel (Androniki), Michael (Carol), William (Joyce) and John (Diane). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to call at JOSEPH GAWLER'S SON'S, INC., 5130 Wisconsin Ave., N.W. (at corner of Harrison St.), Washington, DC on Thursday, August 11 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., with prayers at 7:30 p.m. Services will be held at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 36th St. & Massachusetts Ave. NW, Washington, DC on Friday, August 12 at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
