Father Klaus Sirianni passed away on November 21, 2025 at St. Stephen, Martyr, Parish, where he was in residence while serving as Parochial Vicar, and Chaplain to George Washington University Hospital. He was born to Paul and Gisella Sirianni in Hannover, Germany on August 7, 1945. Fr. Siranni was ordained a Roman Catholic priest on May 6, 1978 and served as a chaplain to the United States Air Force for nearly 20 years. Fr. Sirianni also served in many parishes in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington, including as Parochial Vicar to St. Mary’s, Rockville; St. Philip the Apostle, Camp Springs and St. Jane Frances de Chantal, Bethesda. A viewing will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at St. Stephen, Martyr Parish in DC, from 2:00 – 5:15 pm, with the Vigil Mass at 5:30 pm. A second viewing will be held from 9:00 - 10:00 am, prior to the Mass of Christian Burial to be offered there, on Monday, December 1, 2025 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at 2:00 pm at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
