Lawrence Lukes Suda

He grew up on the family farm and graduated from Grafton High School. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Dakota. After his graduation, he taught in Carrington, ND before entering the United States Air Force where he served for four and a half years. Upon leaving the Air Force, he earned a Master of Business Administration from Florida Technological University and began working for the General Accounting Office in Washington, DC where he worked until his retirement.

He is survived by a brother, Jerry of Bismarck, ND and a sister, Loretta, (Joel Tongen) of Crookston, MN and sister-in-law, Bonnie Suda of Grafton, ND; several nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Frank A. Suda, sister Rosalie Suda, sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ann and Duane Demers, brother and sister-in-law, Clement and Diann Suda, sister-in-law Diane Suda and nephew Michael Demers.

Inurnment will take place in Arlington National Cemetery.
