GLOVER — Marguerite "Peggy" (Dorment) Glover, of Kensington, MD, formerly of New York City, Bronxville, and Coral Gables, passed away on June 17, 2026. Born in Montclair, NJ in 1951, she was the daughter of James and Marguerite Dorment. She was a graduate of The Convent of the Sacred Heart, Noroton, CT, and Manhattanville College. She owned an interior design business, was a member of Siwanoy Country Club and The Colony Club, and served as a board member at the Vizcaya Museum in Miami. She loved nothing more than a day relaxing at the Monmouth Beach Bath & Tennis Club — or a night spent dancing there. She passed on the warmth and kindness that defined her to everyone lucky enough to know her. Survived by her husband William Harvey Glover; beloved children William (Jenny), Christopher (Abby), Alexander (Kelly), and Marguerite (Timothy); brothers Christopher and Richard; and seven grandchildren. Predeceased by siblings James, John, Tommy, and Diane. Mass of Christian Burial, Church of the Precious Blood in Monmouth Beach, NJ, Friday, June 26th at 10:30 AM. The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to Miss Comfort and the staff of Golden Days Living for the extraordinary care and tenderness shown to Peggy in her final days. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Autism Speaks at autismspeaks.org, and to have a glass of Chardonnay in her honor.
