I am just hearing about this sad loss. Marilyn contributed so much to women and families everywhere. I valued her as a colleague. Condolences to her family and friends.

Chuck and Ryan, I am so sorry for, and deeply saddened by, your loss. Marilyn was not only a close colleague, but a supportive friend to me during my years in D.C.  I loved her infectious laugh, sharp wit and her ability to readily see the ironies of life.  My last conversation with Marilyn was just a couple of days before she stopped working, and we made plans to get together the following week but my chaotic life got in the way ... so of course I deeply regret not getting to see her, to give her a hug and tell her how much I had missed her after leaving DC.  I send you both my sincerest sympathies.

Even after miles and years apart, Marilyn was a great friend who was easy to re-engage with just as if I had seen her yesterday. Her spirit and laugh were unmatched, and I am so sorry to hear of her passing. My deepest sympathies.

So sad to hear of Marilyn's passing. Love to both of you, Chuck and Ryan.
