Mary France Gordon

Peacefully passed away on Friday, April 17, 2015; long-time companion of Herman A. Cramer; mother of Ali P. Gordon; mother-in-law of Angelita B. Gordon; grandmother of Kayla, Celine, Amelia and Alina; and cherished by many family members, friends and colleagues. A memorial service will be held at Joseph Gawler's Sons, 5130 Wisconsin Avenue NW (corner of Harrison Street), Washington, DC on Monday, May 4 at 11 a.m., officiated by Rev. Dr. Michael O. Thomas. Following the ceremony, all in attendance are invited to a reception in the Eisenhower Room at Joseph Gawler's Sons. A burial will be held on Tuesday, May 5 at 11 a.m. at Lincoln Cemetery, 4001 Suitland Road, Suitland, MD. Mary was an avid supporter of the humane treatment of animals. Contributions in her memory can be made to The Washington Animal Rescue League, 71 Oglethorpe Street, NW, Washington, DC.
