Preceded in death by her husband, Fred Miller; parents, Joseph and Bridget Madden; brothers, Joseph, John, and Leo Madden; sister, Ann Brazil; niece, Noel Brazil. Survived by daughter Judith (Carl) Cummins; granddaughters, Courtney (Brian) Daniel and Lindsay (Kristopher Peterson) Cummins; great grandsons: Aiden, Colin and Liam Daniel; Brooks and Spencer Peterson; brother Eugene (Arlene) Madden; and many nieces and nephews. She enjoyed a wonderful career first with the FBI, followed by many years on the staff of the Senate Armed Services Committee. Feisty and independent, she loved her family, her Irish heritage and her faith.
Catholic Mass, 12:00 noon on Tuesday, August 26 at The Church of the Little Flower, 5607 Massachusetts Ave, Bethesda, MD 20816. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. A special thank you to the staff at Brighton Gardens and to Janet Jiminez for their loving care.
