Dear Ann,  I was so sad to learn of Chuck's passing from Jackie D'Angelo, who called me out of the blue.  Although we haven't been in touch for many years, I remember Chuck as a good man, and I am so sorry you lost him as a relatively young man.  My sincerest condolences.  Elisa

I am so sad at my dear friend Chuck's passing. He was such a comfort to me and Gloria over the last year as I underwent a double lung transplant. We regularly shared our health issues and hopes. I have wonderful recollections and memories of our times in Akron. Our heartfelt sympathy to Ann and Mate. We will miss him dearly.

We are so sad to hear of our dear friend Chuck's passing. He was such a comfort to Gloria and me while I was undergoing a double lung transplant. Gloria can't say enough about the help he was to her. While in hospital Chuck would call frequently and was such a positive voice. I have some wonderful, lifelong memories of him and his family from our rooming days in Akron to recent conversations just a few weeks ago.  I will miss him and remember him always. Our sympathies to Ann and Mate.
