While being very saddened by the news of Q’s passing, I also feel very fortunate to have known him and to have been influenced by his love for the game of rugby. PAC Rugby Football Club became his passion and one could argue, his life, for the many years he dedicated to the club.

Fresh off the plane from Wales, I attended a practice down on the Mall my very first day in the US. The first person I met was Q and the rest as they say was history!

His enthusiasm, friendly personality and willingness to go out of his way to make you feel welcome and a part of the club tells you all that you need to know about the kind of person Q was.

Rest In Peace my friend, you will be missed but never forgotten.

My deepest condolences to Quentin's family. He was a great guy. I knew him at the Dept of Energy-FERC where we worked, as a fellow rugby player, and friend. He was a genuine, friendly, bright and humble man. It was always good to see him.

Without Q’s thoughtful leadership and immeasurable efforts as president of our rugby club (PAC) over the course of many years, it probably never would have existed and certainly would not have been the great organization that provided so many of us with wonderful memories and lifelong friendships. Those never would have come to be were it not for Q. I’ll never be able to thank you enough for those Quentin.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences for your loss. Quentin and I overlapped at the University of Michigan’s Law School. We were also colleagues at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission for years. He was a very decent, intellectually curious, and engaging person. I will miss him.
